I really like the embossed metal flags. I have been making the embossed metal "Shimmering Ornaments" so making a bigger project with that tape sounds interesting. I will be putting that on my "to try" list.
Thanks for the idea.

Do you have photos of the jewelry you make using buttons? I am surfing around looking for it. Sounds cool and since I am getting all my buttons organized that may ignite some other ideas.
Thanks,

Congratulations on your blogaversary and .... What a fantastic giveaway!!
Many people think I just do digital art but i am a mixed media artist too so this give away is like a piece of heaven to me ... Wonderful items and some I would only dream of owning. Anyway ... back to the rules.
I have added to follow of course and I shall write about it on my new Unwrapping my heart blog.
My email address is dezinaworld@gmail.com
I live in England.
I checked through your archives and love many of your beautiful posts. I love the digital work you do and I love that you adore colour !! I can tell, because i recognize it through your art ... i am a colour lover too lol. But my absolute favourite post is the doodlebugs one. The one where you show your wonderful zentangle. I love that you showed it in all its glorious colour and then in the mono black and white and flipped upside down. Fabulous art work.
Hugs and once again Happy Blogaversary !!!
from June

LuLu,

I was looking at this list of goodies and saw an add for Shipshewana. Are you by chance from Indiana? I'm a relocated Hoosier.

So fun to meet through "list it tuesday!"

I loved the tour of your studio/office. I love all of the organized containers and the glorious natural light!!

Great blog!

LuLu said...

Howdy S.E.,

Thanks for your comments!

Glad you like my blog and my inside studio - which of course will be reconfigured when I move back to the front porch in 2011 late spring!

Nope I'm not from Shipshewana - but I visited there while passing through on a girl's roadtrip to PA last year. Only in town for a few hours - but I sure did managed to find the quilt store!!!

Just love their travel brochure - the paper is a nice weight, not slick and the design and colors are very antique-y looking with lots of burnt umber.

Picked up a bunch of the Shipshewana travel brochures on our recent roadtrip to NY state.

Thanks again for visiting and for your comments. I'm already thinking about my list for tomorrow's LIT entry!

Peace,
LuLu

Hey LuLu;
Wow, this is an amazing giveaway you are having. I have been a follower of your blog for awhile now. I am really enjoying your LIT last few entries. I don't know much about digital editing but I love what you have done! My favorite post of yours is Art Lettering/Calligraphy on AJ Journal pages w-i-p. I really love the effect you have created with the calligraphy in the background and I LOVE Martha's work too! She inspires me so much.
Thank you again for having this fantastic giveaway!!!!

Hi there Lulu - I followed you back here from WOYWW! Today was the first time I've joined in and I'm looking forward to hopping around and visiting! I love your blog design - mine is still pretty bare bones stuff - I hope I'm up to your standard after a year - well done for keeping going.
Your 'Drunken Scotch" glue and alcohol ink Post is new to me so that was very interesting (as a bit of a technique junkie)
Happy Blogiversary!!

I'm in the UK and this is the link back to my blog post -
