Howdy and welcome,
My workstation today ended up with a bunch of stuff to organize or create. Just various little projects that need attention.
'LuLu's WOYWW Dec 1, 2010 Works In Progress' |
- Two original background stamps made yesterday from: round hardware store sticker finds and foam puzzle stickers and from foam letter stickers, both painted with gesso and sealed with matte medium adhered to empty VHS tape boxes
- Liquitex matte medium (my medium of choice)
- my concoction of matte medium mixed with white gesso (I love measuring and mixing wet supplies, glazes, paints, gessos, etc!) stored in a small plastic Rubbermaid container
- small leather purse I've never used. Because of it's shape and depth, I'm considering using it as a travel pencil case or travel paint box. It has a handle and a long strap.
- Four of my flash drives. I try to carry them around the house in my pants pocket, since I sprained my ankle. Can't run up and down the stairs like I used to do when I need to use files between the upstairs desktop PC and downstairs laptop.
- clear packaging from the iPod shuffle hubby gave last month me. I'm thinking about using it as a shadow box for some little art project.
Would love for you to comment on this post. when you have a moment or 2.

Many thanks for popping by - and please come back again soon.
Peace,
LuLu

What a great name for your blog. Love the scheme of it too. But, I'm most impressed that you make your own background stamps - beaucoup talent! Thanks for the peek at your space.
I like the homemade background stamps you made. The VHS box idea was brilliant!
Dear LuLu Too Beaucoup - what a darling nom de plume! Great workstation, simple elegance for complex ideas. Hope the ankle feels better soon. hugs, Vicki #115
what a great way to recycle those tape boxes! i love the look of your leather purse. yes, it looks a good shape for carrying pens and other stuff!
Great collection of stuff. The purse would make an excellent pencil case.
Good luck with all your projects, Lulu.
Loved your travel tool kit from last post and congrats on being published

your background stamp thing-a-me-jig has given me some ideas. when you think about it, there isn't anything you can't stick on something to make a stamp!Perhaps not a London red bus...or a chicken, but you now what I mean! Happy WOYWW Sorry I'm late!

Wow what a great idea to make your own background stamps ~ thanks for sharing ~ Nicky ~30
Hi Lulu, thanks for commenting on my Woyww. Your items look very interesting and am intrigued by your self made background stamps. Please do an intructions video on how to make one, it would be awesome. Very talented young lady you are indeed. I must say regarding my ribbon, funnily enough since they have all been on display, I have hardly used them. I have never ever been on a craft retreat before. What's it like?
Have a great week, blessings Hilde from happyglitygirl.
